Kindness to the Elderly and Infirm

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught that one should be kind and generous to the elderly and infirm.

Abu Bakr b. 'Abd al-Rahman reported that he had heard Abu Huraira say that the Messenger of Allah said like it, but he substituted" the aged" for 'the infirm".

QUICK LESSONS:
Treating elderly & infirmed people with kindness & respect.

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught us to be kind and generous towards those who are elderly or infirm. He said that we should treat them with ihsan, which means kindness, respect, and generosity. We should not forget about them just because they are not as young or able as we are. Instead, we should show them love and care for their needs. This is an important lesson for all of us to remember in our daily lives - no matter how old or young someone is, they deserve our kindness!
