The Last Glance of the Prophet

SUMMARY: The last glance of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was on Monday when he drew the curtain aside.

Anas reported: The last glance that I have had of the Messenger of Allah (before his death) was that when he on Monday drew the curtain aside. The hadith transmitted by Salih is perfect and complete.
وَحَدَّثَنِيهِ عَمْرٌو النَّاقِدُ، وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ آخِرُ نَظْرَةٍ نَظَرْتُهَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ كَشَفَ السِّتَارَةَ يَوْمَ الاِثْنَيْنِ بِهَذِهِ الْقِصَّةِ وَحَدِيثُ صَالِحٍ أَتَمُّ وَأَشْبَعُ

EXPLANATIONS:
According to a hadith reported by Anas, the last time he saw the Messenger of Allah was on Monday when he drew back a curtain. This hadith is also confirmed by another narrator, Salih Ibn Kaysan. This hadith teaches us that we should always remember our beloved prophet and strive to follow his teachings in our daily lives. We should also be mindful that even in his final moments, he was still devoted to his mission and teaching others about Islam.
