Following the Imam During Prayer

SUMMARY: The hadith is about not rising up ahead of the Imam during prayer and saying "Amin" when someone makes a mistake.

Abu Huraira reported from the Messenger of Allah like it, except the words: " Nor of those who err, say Amin" and added:" And don't rise up ahead of him".
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ، - يَعْنِي الدَّرَاوَرْدِيَّ - عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ بِنَحْوِهِ إِلاَّ قَوْلَهُ ‏"‏ وَلاَ الضَّالِّينَ ‏.‏ فَقُولُوا آمِينَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ وَزَادَ ‏"‏ وَلاَ تَرْفَعُوا قَبْلَهُ

This hadith is about following the imam during prayer. It teaches us to not rise up ahead of him and to say “Amin” when someone makes a mistake. We should also say “Amin” after every verse that he recites so that we can show our agreement with what Allah has said in His book.
