Sahih Muslim 411c (Book 4, Hadith 85) #8090
Standing in Prayer with the Imam

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) fell off a horse and grazed his right side. He then instructed the people to stand when the Imam says prayer.

Anas b. Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah fell down from a horse and his right side was grazed, and the rest of the hadith is the same with the addition of these words:" When he (the Imam) says prayer standing, you should also do so".

QUICK LESSONS:
Follow your imam's lead during prayers and stand up when they say it's time to pray even if you are injured or tired .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about standing in prayer with an Imam when he leads a congregation in prayer. The Prophet Muhammad PBUH fell off a horse and grazed his right side, but despite this injury he still stood for prayer when the Imam said it was time to pray. This shows us that we should always be willing to stand for prayer even if we are injured or tired, as it is an important part of our faith and worship of Allah SWT. We should also follow the lead of our Imams during prayers so that everyone can pray together as one community, united by their faith in Allah SWT.
