QUICK LESSONS:
Respect your elders and those in authority over you; stay humble; be mindful of your actions; take care of yourself; spend time with family members

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks to us about how important it is to respect our elders and those in authority over us. It also shows us that even though he was a leader and prophet, Muhammad (PBUH) still took care of himself and his family like any other person would do. He was not above doing everyday tasks such as taking a bath or spending time with his family members. This hadith also teaches us that we should be humble in all aspects of our lives no matter what position we are in or what task we are doing at any given moment. We should always remember that Allah is watching over us at all times so it is important to stay mindful of our actions and words even when no one else is around to witness them.
