SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) performed ablution and wiped over his forehead, turban, and socks.

QUICK LESSONS:
Perform ablution according to Islamic law by wiping over your forehead with wet hands as well as your turban and socks if they are already clean.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's practice of performing ablution. During this process of purification known as wudu in Arabic, he would wipe over his forehead with wet hands as well as his turban and socks. This is a sunnah that Muslims follow today when they perform their daily prayers or other acts of worship. It is important to note that wiping over the head or socks should only be done if they are already clean; otherwise it would not be considered valid according to Islamic law. The hadith also teaches us about the importance of cleanliness in our lives and how we should strive to keep ourselves pure both physically and spiritually.
