The Nightly Routine of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)

SUMMARY: The hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) getting up in the night.

This hadith is reported from Hudaifa by another chain of transmitters. Whenever he (the Holy Prophet) got up in the night, they (the transmitters) have not mentioned the words: for offering Tahajjud prayer.
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، أَخْبَرَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي وَأَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، كِلاَهُمَا عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ إِذَا قَامَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ ‏.‏ بِمِثْلِهِ وَلَمْ يَقُولُوا لِيَتَهَجَّدَ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is reported from Hudaifa and it speaks about the nightly routine of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. It is said that whenever he got up in the night, he would offer Tahajjud prayer. This shows us how devoted and dedicated our beloved prophet was to his faith and religion. He was an example for all of us to follow as he showed us how important it is to stay connected with Allah through prayer even during late hours at night. We should also strive to be like him by dedicating some time each day for prayer and reflection on our faith so that we can stay close to Allah SWT.
