The Power of Prayer and Attending Friday Prayers

SUMMARY: Praying five times a day and attending the Friday prayer regularly can help expiate minor sins.

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah said: Five prayers and from one Friday prayer to (the next) Friday prayer is an expiation (of the sins committed in between their intervals) if major sins are not committed.

QUICK LESSONS:
Pray 5 times daily & attend weekly friday prayer
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the power of prayer and attending Friday prayers. It teaches us that if we pray five times a day, as well as attend the weekly Friday prayer, it can help expiate minor sins that we may have committed in between these intervals. This means that our prayers can be used to cleanse us from any wrongdoings or mistakes we may have made in our lives. It is important to note that this does not apply to major sins, which require more than just prayers for repentance. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) taught us this lesson so that we could use it as a way to stay on the right path and live an ethical life according to Islamic teachings.
