Entering Paradise in Groups

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said that seventy thousand people will enter Paradise together, and some of them will have faces as bright as the moon.

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah said: Seventy thousand (persons) would enter Paradise as one group and among them (there would be people) whom faces would be bright like the moon.
وَحَدَّثَنِي حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي حَيْوَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو يُونُسَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ ‏ "‏ يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ مِنْ أُمَّتِي سَبْعُونَ أَلْفًا زُمْرَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ مِنْهُمْ عَلَى صُورَةِ الْقَمَرِ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith tells us that those who are righteous and do good deeds will be rewarded with entry into Paradise. It also tells us that these people will enter in groups and some of them will have faces so bright they resemble the moon. This is a sign of Allah's mercy and grace towards His believers. We should strive to be among those who are granted entry into Paradise by doing good deeds and following the teachings of Islam.
