Understand religious teachings , Practice religious teachings , Be cautious about those claiming to follow religion without understanding it properly .

This hadith speaks about a group of people who will emerge from the East. They will recite the Quran but their recitation won't reach beyond their throats, meaning that they won't understand what they are saying. They will also renounce Islam as an arrow passes through game, meaning that they won't come back to it unless something impossible happens. The Prophet then said that one sign of this group is their habit of shaving both their beards and heads. This hadith teaches us that we should not only recite the Quran but also try to understand its teachings so we can practice them in our lives. We should also be careful about those who claim to follow Islam but don’t actually practice its teachings or have any understanding of them; such people may end up leaving the religion altogether if we are not careful enough.
