Narrated Sahl: The distance between the pulpit and the wall of the mosque on the side of the Qibla was just sufficient for a sheep to pass through.
The hadith also reminds us to keep our mosques free from unnecessary items so that people can focus on worshipping Allah in peace without any distractions or hindrances. Furthermore, this hadith teaches us about moderation in all aspects of life; even when decorating our places of worship we must remember not to go overboard with decorations or furniture as this could lead to overcrowding which would make it difficult for people to move around freely within the mosque.
Finally, this hadith serves as an example of how Muslims are encouraged to maintain their places of worship in order to show respect towards Allah and His house. We must remember not only keep our mosques clean but also ensure they are spacious enough so everyone can pray comfortably without any obstructions or disturbances.
