Obey your leader if they are following Allah's laws & traditions .

This hadith is about Abdullah bin Umar pledging allegiance to Abdul Malik, Chief of the believers. He wrote a letter expressing his commitment to obey Allah's laws and follow the traditions of His Prophet according to his ability. He also made sure that his sons would do the same.
