Beware of Ad-Dajjal's Deception

SUMMARY: The Prophet warned about Ad-Dajjal, who would have water and fire with him, but what appears to be fire is actually cold water and what appears to be water is actually fire.

Narrated Hudhaifa: The Prophet said about Ad-Dajjal that he would have water and fire with him: (what would seem to be) fire, would be cold water and (what would seem to be) water, would be fire.

QUICK LESSONS:
Question the truth of things we see or hear in order to avoid being deceived by false information or lies. Seek guidance from Allah alone for true knowledge .

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad warned his followers about a figure known as Ad-Dajjal. He said that this figure would have both water and fire with him, but the two elements would not be what they appear to be. What looks like fire will actually be cold water, while what looks like water will actually be fire. This warning serves as a reminder for us to always question the truth of things we see or hear in order to avoid being deceived by false information or lies. We should also remember that Allah alone knows the truth and it is only through Him that we can find true guidance in life.
