The Fire that Illuminates Busra

SUMMARY: The Hour of Judgement will not come until a fire appears from the land of Hijaz and illuminates the necks of camels in Busra.

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger said, "The Hour will not be established till a fire will come out of the land of Hijaz, and it will throw light on the necks of the camels at Busra".
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ ‏ "‏ لاَ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى تَخْرُجَ نَارٌ مِنْ أَرْضِ الْحِجَازِ، تُضِيءُ أَعْنَاقَ الإِبِلِ بِبُصْرَى

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is narrated by Abu Huraira and it speaks about the Hour of Judgement. It states that before this hour comes, a fire will appear from the land of Hijaz and it will illuminate the necks of camels in Busra. This hadith is an indication that Allah knows what is going to happen in future and He has already informed us about it through His Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. It also teaches us to be prepared for this day as we do not know when it will come. We should strive to live our lives according to Islamic teachings so that we can be ready for this day when it arrives.
