Three Types of People Most Hated by Allah

SUMMARY: The Prophet ﷺ warned against three types of people who are most hated by Allah, which are those who deviate from the right conduct, those who seek to keep traditions of pre-Islamic ignorance in Islam and those who seek to shed someone's blood without any right.

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: The Prophet said, "The most hated persons to Allah are three: I A person who deviates from the right conduct, ie, an evil doer, in the Haram (sanctuaries of Mecca and Medina); II a person who seeks that the traditions of the Pre-lslamic Period of Ignorance, should remain in Islam III and a person who seeks to shed somebody's blood without any right".
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي حُسَيْنٍ، حَدَّثَنَا نَافِعُ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ قَالَ ‏ "‏ أَبْغَضُ النَّاسِ إِلَى اللَّهِ ثَلاَثَةٌ مُلْحِدٌ فِي الْحَرَمِ، وَمُبْتَغٍ فِي الإِسْلاَمِ سُنَّةَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ، وَمُطَّلِبُ دَمِ امْرِئٍ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ لِيُهَرِيقَ دَمَهُ

This hadith warns us against three types of people that are most hated by Allah. The first type is a person who deviates from the right conduct or an evil doer in the Haram, which refers to the sanctuaries of Mecca and Medina. The second type is a person who seeks to keep traditions from pre-Islamic ignorance in Islam. Lastly, it warns us against a person seeking to shed somebody's blood without any right or justification. These three types of people are considered as some of the worst sins according to Islamic teachings and should be avoided at all costs if one wishes for their salvation in this life and hereafter.
