Seek out an impartial judge or arbiter for justice; Take precautions when dealing with children; Follow rulings given by judges/arbiters; Respect others’ opinions even if they differ from yours; Be mindful of your actions towards others especially children; Show kindness and compassion towards those around you regardless of their age or status in society.

This hadith is about resolving disputes between two people. In this case, it was about who owned a child. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ gave his ruling that the boy belonged to 'Abd bin Zam'a as he was the owner of the bed. He also advised Sauda to screen herself from the boy. This hadith teaches us that when there is a dispute between two people, we should seek out an impartial judge or arbiter who can give an unbiased opinion on what is right and just in order for justice to be served. It also teaches us that we should be mindful of our actions and take precautions when dealing with children so as not to cause any harm or distress them in any way.
