Follow Islamic Laws even if they are not mentioned explicitly in Quran or Hadiths

This hadith is about inheritance rights for daughters and sisters. It was narrated by Al-Aswad and Sulaiman who reported that Mu'adh bin Jabal gave a verdict in the lifetime of Allah's Messenger that half of an inheritance should be given to a daughter and the other half to her sister.
