The Prophet's Blessing on a Young Boy

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) threw water from his mouth onto the face of a young boy who had not yet reached puberty.

Narrated Mahmud bin Ar-Rabi: On whose face Allah's Messenger had thrown water from his mouth, the water having been taken from their well while he was still a young boy (who has not yet attained the age of puberty).
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ صَالِحِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي مَحْمُودُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ، وَهُوَ الَّذِي مَجَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ فِي وَجْهِهِ وَهْوَ غُلاَمٌ مِنْ بِئْرِهِمْ‏.‏

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks to the immense mercy and kindness of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). It is narrated that he blessed a young boy by throwing water from his mouth onto the boy's face. It is also an example of how we should treat children with kindness and respect, no matter their age or background.
