Inclusivity in Conversation

SUMMARY: It is important to be mindful of the feelings of others and not exclude them from conversations.

Narrated 'Abdullah: The Prophet said, "When you are three persons sitting together, then no two of you should hold secret counsel excluding the third person until you are with some other people too, for that would grieve him".

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith emphasizes the importance of being mindful of other people's feelings when engaging in conversation. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught that when three people are sitting together, no two should hold a secret conversation excluding the third person, as this would cause them distress. This hadith teaches us to be considerate and inclusive when conversing with others, so that we do not make anyone feel left out or excluded. We should always strive to include everyone in our conversations and respect their presence by not having private conversations without them present.
