The Significance of Solar Eclipse

SUMMARY: Solar eclipse occurred on the day of Ibrahim's death.

Narrated Al-Mughira bin Shuba: Solar eclipse occurred on the day of Ibrahim's death (the Prophet's son).
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ، حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ عِلاَقَةَ، سَمِعْتُ الْمُغِيرَةَ بْنَ شُعْبَةَ، قَالَ انْكَسَفَتِ الشَّمْسُ يَوْمَ مَاتَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ‏.‏ رَوَاهُ أَبُو بَكْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ‏.‏

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the significance of solar eclipse. It is narrated by Al-Mughira bin Shuba that a solar eclipse occurred on the day of Ibrahim’s death which was the Prophet’s son.
