Sahih al-Bukhari 615 (Book 10, Hadith 13) #593
Rewards for Acts of Worship

SUMMARY: The hadith is about the rewards of performing certain acts of worship such as Adhan, congregational prayers, Zuhr prayer and Isha and Fajr prayers.

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger said, "If the people knew the reward for pronouncing the Adhan and for standing in the first row (in congregational prayers) and found no other way to get that except by drawing lots they would draw lots, and if they knew the reward of the Zuhr prayer (in the early moments of its stated time) they would race for it (go early) and if they knew the reward of 'Isha' and Fajr (morning) prayers in congregation, they would come to offer them even if they had to crawl".

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is narrated by Abu Huraira and it talks about the rewards for performing certain acts of worship. It mentions that if people knew the reward for pronouncing the Adhan, standing in the first row in congregational prayers, offering Zuhr prayer in its early moments, offering Isha and Fajr prayers in congregation they would do so even if they had to crawl. This shows how important these acts are to Allah SWT and how much reward He has promised us for doing them. We should strive to perform these acts with sincerity so that we can reap their rewards both here on earth as well as in Jannah.
