Smiling with the Prophet

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) never laughed to an extent that one could see his palate, but he always used to smile only.

Narrated 'Aisha: I never saw the Prophet laughing to an extent that one could see his palate, but he always used to smile only.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرٌو، أَنَّ أَبَا النَّضْرِ، حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ قَالَتْ مَا رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ مُسْتَجْمِعًا قَطُّ ضَاحِكًا حَتَّى أَرَى مِنْهُ لَهَوَاتِهِ، إِنَّمَا كَانَ يَتَبَسَّمُ‏.‏

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is narrated by 'Aisha and it speaks about the behavior of the beloved prophet, Muhammad PBUH. It states that he never laughed to an extent that one could see his palate, but he always used to smile only. We should be mindful of our actions and words as they reflect on our character and how others perceive us.
