EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of humility and not being prideful. It was narrated by Salim's father who said that when Allah's Messenger mentioned something about the hanging of an Izar waist sheet, Abu Bakr said his own Izar slackened on one side without his intention. The Prophet then replied that Abu Bakr was not among those who drag their Izars behind them out of pride. This teaches us to be humble and to avoid any kind of pride or arrogance in our actions or words. We should always remember that Allah does not like those who are proud and arrogant in their behavior towards others.
