Participating in Jihad for Parents' Benefit

SUMMARY: The Prophet ﷺ advised a man to participate in Jihad for the benefit of his parents.

Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Amr: A man said to the Prophet, "Shall I participate in Jihad?" The Prophet said, "Are your parents living?" The man said, "Yes". the Prophet said, "Do Jihad for their benefit".
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، وَشُعْبَةَ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا حَبِيبٌ، ح قَالَ وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَبَّاسِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ قَالَ رَجُلٌ لِلنَّبِيِّ أُجَاهِدُ‏.‏ قَالَ ‏"‏ لَكَ أَبَوَانِ ‏"‏‏.‏ قَالَ نَعَمْ‏.‏ قَالَ ‏"‏ فَفِيهِمَا فَجَاهِدْ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about participating in jihad, which is a struggle or effort to do something difficult. The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) advised a man to participate in jihad for the benefit of his parents. This means that he should strive hard and make an effort to do something good that will help his parents, such as providing them with financial support or taking care of them when they are sick. By doing this, he can show gratitude and appreciation towards his parents and also help them out during difficult times. Furthermore, this hadith teaches us the importance of helping our family members and being kind towards them. We should always strive to be supportive and loving towards our family members so that we can create strong bonds with them and ensure their well-being.
