Cursing of Tattoos and Artificial Hair Lengthening

SUMMARY: The Prophet ﷺ cursed those who practice and get tattoos and artificially lengthen their hair.

Narrated Ibn 'Umar: I heard the Prophet saying, (or the Prophet said), "Allah has cursed the lady who practices tattooing and that who gets it done for herself, and also the lady who lengthens hair artificially and that who gets her hair lengthened artificially". The Prophet has cursed such ladies.

QUICK LESSONS:
Focus on inner beauty instead of outer appearance

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet's (ﷺ) disapproval of certain practices related to beauty. He cursed those who practice tattooing, which is a form of body art where ink is inserted into the skin, as well as those who artificially lengthen their hair. This means that they use methods such as extensions or wigs to make their hair look longer than it actually is. The Prophet's disapproval of these practices suggests that he believed they were not in line with Islamic values or teachings. He wanted people to focus on inner beauty rather than outer appearance, which can be achieved through good deeds and faith in Allah.
