Obey Allah's commands, respect religious leaders.

In this hadith, Mu'awiya bin Abi Sufyan is heard speaking from the pulpit and taking a tuft of hair from one of his guards. He asked where their religious learned men were, as he had heard that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) forbade such things. He then mentioned that the children of Israel were destroyed when their women started using false hair. This hadith serves as a warning to us all to stay away from such practices, as it can lead to destruction and fitnah (trouble). We should take heed in following what our beloved Prophet has taught us in order to avoid any harm or danger coming our way.
