Offer animals as sacrifices at the right time & place prescribed by God; Remember & mention His name while performing any act for Him; Obey God’s commands & instructions; Perform acts with mindfulness towards them .

This hadith is about the importance of sacrificing animals as an act of worship. It was narrated by Jundub bin Sufyan Al-Bajali that during the lifetime of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, some people offered animals as sacrifices and some people slaughtered their sacrifices before the prayer. The Prophet ﷺ then instructed them that whoever has already slaughtered their sacrifice should slaughter another one in its place, and whoever has not yet done so should do so while mentioning Allah’s name. This teaches us that when we are performing any act of worship or obedience to God, we must remember Him and mention His name while doing it. We must also be mindful to perform our acts at the right time and place prescribed by God for maximum benefit from our deeds.
