This hadith is about avoiding luxurious items such as silk, gold and silver vessels, and plates of precious metals. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught his companions that these items are not meant for believers but rather they are meant for unbelievers in this world. He also taught that these things will be given to believers in the hereafter instead. This hadith teaches us to be content with what we have now so that we can receive more blessings from Allah SWT in the hereafter. We should not be too attached to worldly possessions or become too focused on materialistic things because they will not benefit us when we die. Instead, we should focus on doing good deeds so that our rewards will follow us into the afterlife.
