Following the Orders of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ)

SUMMARY: This hadith is about the importance of following the orders of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) even if it goes against one's own opinion.

Narrated Aisha: that Aflah the brother of Abu Al-Qu'ais, her foster uncle, came, asking permission to enter upon her after the Verse of Al-Hijab (the use of veils by women) was revealed'.Aisha added: I did not allow him to enter, but when Allah's Messenger came, I told him what I had done, and he ordered me to give him permission.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ أَفْلَحَ، أَخَا أَبِي الْقُعَيْسِ جَاءَ يَسْتَأْذِنُ عَلَيْهَا ـ وَهْوَ عَمُّهَا مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ ـ بَعْدَ أَنْ نَزَلَ الْحِجَابُ، فَأَبَيْتُ أَنْ آذَنَ لَهُ، فَلَمَّا جَاءَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ أَخْبَرْتُهُ بِالَّذِي صَنَعْتُ، فَأَمَرَنِي أَنْ آذَنَ لَهُ‏.‏

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about how Aisha, a companion of Prophet Muhammad, was asked for permission to enter her house by her foster uncle Aflah after the verse regarding veiling was revealed. She refused him entry but when she told this to Prophet Muhammad, he ordered her to give him permission. This hadith teaches us that we should always obey and follow the orders given by our beloved prophet even if it goes against our own opinion or judgement as he knows what is best for us in all situations. We should have faith in his teachings and wisdom and trust that whatever he says will be beneficial for us in this life and hereafter.
