Respect each word in the Quran; Recite 'Say He Is Allah One'; Have faith that every verse has an equal reward from Allah .

This hadith explains the importance of reciting a particular surah in the Quran, known as Surat Al Ikhlas. It was narrated by Abu Said Al Khudri that a man heard another man repeatedly reciting 'Say He is Allah, One'. The next morning he came to Prophet Muhammad and informed him about it as if he thought that it was not enough to recite. On that Prophet Muhammad said, "By Him in Whose Hand my life is, this Surah is equal to one third of the Qur'an!" This hadith emphasizes on how important it is for Muslims to recite this particular surah and how much reward they will receive for doing so. It also shows us how much respect we should have for each and every word in the Quran since even one small surah can be equivalent to a third of its entirety.
