Narrated Abu-Huraira: Gabriel used to repeat the recitation of the Qur'an with the Prophet once a year, but he repeated it twice with him in the year he died. The Prophet used to stay in I'tikaf for ten days every year (in the month of Ramadan), but in the year of his death, he stayed in I'tikaf for twenty days.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the last year of the Prophet's life. It is narrated by Abu Huraira that every year, Gabriel would come to recite the Quran with him once. However, in his last year, he recited it twice and stayed in I’tikaf for twenty days instead of ten. This shows us how devoted and dedicated he was to worshipping Allah even during his last moments on earth. He was an example for us all to follow as we should strive to be closer to Allah even when our time here is coming close to an end. We should also take part in activities such as reciting Quran or staying in I’tikaf which are acts of worship that bring us closer to Allah and help us become better Muslims.
