Take an oath only in the name of Allah alone; Do not involve anyone else or anything else when making a promise or commitment; Do not invite others to gamble; Give alms as a form of expiation if you do so.

This hadith teaches us that taking an oath in the name of Lat and Uzza is forbidden. It also teaches us that if someone invites another person to gamble, they must give alms as a form of expiation. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us that gambling is wrong because it involves taking something from someone else without giving anything in return. He also taught us that we should not take any kind of oath which includes mentioning any other gods besides Allah, because this goes against the teachings of Islam. We should always remember to only take an oath in the name of Allah alone, and never involve anyone else or anything else when making a promise or commitment.
