EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is narrated by 'Abdullah and it talks about five great events that have already passed. The first event is the Smoke, which refers to a smoke mentioned in the Quran (44:10) as a sign of the Day of Judgment. The second event is the Moon being split in two (54:1). The third event is when Allah helped the Romans against their enemies (30;2-4). The fourth event is when Allah's mighty grasp was felt on earth (39;67). And finally, there will be a constant punishment for those who disobey Allah's commands as mentioned in Surah Furqaan (25;77). These five events are signs from Allah to remind us of His power and greatness. We should take heed from these signs and strive to obey His commands so we can avoid His punishment.
