Allah's Exemption of the Weak

SUMMARY: Allah has excused the weak among men, women and children.

Narrated Ibn Abi Mulaika: Ibn 'Abbas recited:-- "Except the weak ones among men women and children," (4:98) and said, "My mother and I were among those whom Allah had excused".
حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ، أَنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ، تَلاَ ‏{‏ِلاَّ الْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ مِنَ الرِّجَالِ وَالنِّسَاءِ وَالْوِلْدَانِ‏}‏ قَالَ كُنْتُ أَنَا وَأُمِّي مِمَّنْ عَذَرَ اللَّهُ‏.‏ وَيُذْكَرُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ‏{‏حَصِرَتْ‏}‏ ضَاقَتْ ‏{‏تَلْوُوا‏}‏ أَلْسِنَتَكُمْ بِالشَّهَادَةِ‏.‏ وَقَالَ غَيْرُهُ الْمُرَاغَمُ الْمُهَاجَرُ‏.‏ رَاغَمْتُ هَاجَرْتُ قَوْمِي‏.‏ ‏{‏مَوْقُوتًا‏}‏ مُوَقَّتًا وَقْتَهُ عَلَيْهِمْ‏.‏

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about Allah's mercy and exemption of those who are weak. It was narrated by Ibn Abi Mulaika and Ibn 'Abbas, who recited a verse from the Quran (4:98).
