Sahih al-Bukhari 4563 (Book 65, Hadith 85) #4346
Trusting in Allah's Plan

SUMMARY: Abraham and Muhammad both showed faith in Allah when they were faced with difficult situations.

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: 'Allah is Sufficient for us and He Is the Best Disposer of affairs," was said by Abraham when he was thrown into the fire; and it was said by Muhammad when they (ie hypocrites) said, "A great army is gathering against you, therefore, fear them," but it only increased their faith and they said: "Allah is Sufficient for us, and He is the Best Disposer (of affairs, for us)". (3:173)

QUICK LESSONS:
Have faith in God's plan no matter what difficulties you face
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks of the faith of Abraham and Muhammad when they were faced with difficult situations. Abraham was thrown into a fire, but he trusted that Allah would take care of him, saying “Allah is Sufficient for us and He Is the Best Disposer of affairs”. Similarly, when the hypocrites said to Muhammad that a great army was gathering against him, it only increased his faith and he said “Allah is Sufficient for us, and He is the Best Disposer (of affairs, for us)”. This hadith teaches us to trust in Allah's plan no matter what difficulties we face in life. We should have faith that whatever happens will be best for us because Allah knows what is best for His servants.
