QUICK LESSONS:
Follow Allah's commands and be obedient to Him in all matters
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks of a unique experience of Anas ibn Malik. He was the only one who prayed facing both qiblas - Jerusalem and Mecca. The qibla is the direction Muslims face when they pray. Before Islam, Muslims used to pray towards Jerusalem but after Prophet Muhammad's migration to Medina, Allah revealed that Muslims should now face towards Makkah when praying. This hadith shows us how important it is for us to follow Allah's commands and be obedient to Him in all matters. It also teaches us that we should always strive to do what is right even if it means going against what others are doing or have done before us.
