Show respect and reverence when entering places where Allah’s punishment has fallen.

It is important for us to remember that we should not enter places where Allah's punishment has fallen unless we do so with humility and sorrow. We must remember that if we do not show proper respect for these people, then Allah's curse may fall upon us as well. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was reminding us of our duty towards those who have suffered from divine retribution in order to encourage us to be more compassionate towards them. He was also teaching us that it is important for us to be mindful of our own actions in order not incur any divine wrath ourselves.
