In the year of Al Hudaibiya, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ set out on a journey with 1300 to 1500 companions. When they reached Dhul Hulaifa he garlanded his Hadi and assumed the state of Ihram. This is an important part of Hajj which is one of the five pillars in Islam. It is an act that Muslims must perform at least once in their lifetime if they are able to do so financially and physically.
