QUICK LESSONS:
Be humble and grateful for all your blessings

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith tells us about the consequences of arrogance. It is narrated by Abu Hurairah that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that while a man was walking, dressed in clothes admiring himself, his hair combed, walking haughtily when Allah caused the earth to swallow him. This means that Allah punished this man for his arrogance and pride by making the earth swallow him up until the Day of Resurrection. We learn from this hadith that we should not be arrogant or proud because it will lead to severe punishment from Allah. We should instead be humble and grateful for all our blessings so we can receive mercy from Him on Judgment Day.
