Avoiding Pride

SUMMARY: Pride is a trait that should be avoided as it will not be looked upon favorably by Allah on the Day of Resurrection.

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah said, "On the Day of Resurrection, Allah will not look at him who trails his lower garment out of pride". Al-Bukhari and Muslim.
وعن أبى هريرة رضي الله عنه أن رسول الله قال‏:‏ “لا ينظر الله يوم القيامة إلى من جر إزاره بطراً” ‏(‏‏(‏متفق عليه‏)‏‏)‏
