The Speech of a True Believer

SUMMARY: A true believer should not talk in a way that is insulting, cursing, taunting or indecent.

Ibn Mas'ud (May Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah said, "A true believer does not taunt or curse or abuse or talk indecently". At-Tirmidhi.
عن ابن مسعود رضي الله عنه قال‏:‏ قال رسول الله ‏:‏ ‏ "‏ليس المؤمن بالطعان، ولا اللعان، ولا الفاحش، ولا البذي‏"‏‏.‏ ‏(‏‏(‏رواه الترمذي وقال حديث حسن‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏
