EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is narrated by Jabir ibn Abdullah and it speaks about the power of prayer and how it can protect us from the influence of Satan. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that the devil has given up on trying to make people worship him in the Arabian Peninsula, but he still hopes to create dissension among them. This means that even though we are protected from worshipping evil, we must still be careful not to let our differences lead us into arguments or fights with each other. We should instead focus on our similarities and use them as a way to bring us closer together. We should also remember that prayer is a powerful tool for protection against evil influences, so we should strive to pray regularly and sincerely.
