QUICK LESSONS:
Strive hard and make sacrifices for your faith

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith, narrated by Ibn 'Abbas, speaks about the rewards for participating in the battle of Badr. It states that those who took part in this battle are not equal to those who failed to join it. This means that Allah will give a greater reward to those who fought and sacrificed their lives for His cause than to those who did not participate. This hadith teaches us that we should strive hard and make sacrifices for our faith as Allah will reward us greatly if we do so. We should also remember that no matter how much effort we put into something, if it is done with sincerity and faith then Allah will surely reward us accordingly.
