The Blessings of Ramadan

SUMMARY: During Ramadan, the gates of Heaven are opened and the gates of Hell are closed while devils are chained.

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah said, "When Ramadan begins, the gates of Jannah are opened, the gates of Hell are closed, and the devils are chained". Al-Bukhari and Muslim.
وعنه رضي الله عنه أن رسول الله قال‏:‏ ‏ "‏إذا جاء رمضان فتحت أبواب الجنة، وغلقت أبواب النار، وصفدت الشياطين‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏متفق عليه‏)‏‏)‏
