Trimming Moustaches and Growing Beards

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) instructed to trim the moustaches and let the beard grow.

Ibn 'Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: The Prophet said, "Trim the moustaches and let the beard grow". Al-Bukhari and Muslim.
وعن ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما، عن النبي قال‏:‏ ‏ "‏أحفوا الشوارب وأعفوا اللحى‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏متفق عليه‏)‏‏)‏

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about grooming, specifically trimming moustaches and letting beards grow. It was narrated by Ibn 'Umar, who was a companion of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. The Prophet ﷺ instructed that one should shorten their moustache, which is known as qasr in Arabic, while allowing their beard to grow out naturally, which is known as liyah in Arabic or shurabah in some dialects.
