EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of using a miswak or tooth stick. A miswak is a twig from certain trees that are used to clean teeth and freshen breath. It was narrated by Abu Musa Al Ash'ari that he visited the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and noticed the tip of a miswak on his tongue. This shows us how important it is to use this tool for hygiene and health purposes as even the Prophet ﷺ practiced it himself. Not only does it help keep our teeth clean but also helps us maintain good oral hygiene which can prevent many diseases in our mouth such as cavities, gum disease, bad breath etc. Furthermore, using a miswak has spiritual benefits too as it helps us stay mindful of Allah's commands and remember Him more often while we are cleaning our teeth. Thus this hadith teaches us to take care of ourselves physically and spiritually by using a miswak regularly for dental hygiene purposes as well as for remembrance of Allah SWT .
