The Power of Prayer

SUMMARY: The five daily prayers and the Friday prayer can expiate minor sins, as long as major sins are avoided.

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah said, "The five (daily) Salat (prayers) and the Friday (prayer) to the Friday (prayer) expiate whatever (minor sins) may be committed in between, so long as major sins are avoided". Muslim.

QUICK LESSONS:
Pray regularly and on time
EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith from the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ teaches us that prayer is a powerful tool for expiating our minor sins. It is important to note that this does not apply to major sins, which require more than just prayer for repentance. We should strive to pray regularly and on time in order to benefit from this blessing of Allah SWT. Additionally, we should also be mindful of our actions so that we do not commit any major sins in the first place.
