EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of seeking permission before entering someone's house. It was narrated by Kildah bin Al-Hanbal, who visited the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and entered his house without seeking permission first. The Prophet ﷺ then told him to go back and ask for permission by saying "As-Salamu 'alaikum" which means "may peace be upon you". This hadith teaches us that we should always show respect and etiquette when entering someone else's home, as it is a sign of politeness and good manners. We should always remember to ask for permission before entering any place, whether it be a friend or family member's home or even a public place such as a mosque or school.
