EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about Umm Hani visiting the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ on the day of his conquest of Makkah. She saw him taking a bath and his daughter, Fatimah, was screening him with a cloth. This hadith teaches us that we should respect our elders and show them love and kindness at all times. It also shows us how important it is to be humble even when we are in positions of power or authority as demonstrated by the Prophet ﷺ who was still taking a bath himself despite being victorious in battle. We can also learn from this hadith that it is important to be modest in our behavior even when no one else is around to witness it as this was an intimate moment between father and daughter which could have been easily kept private but instead was shared with Umm Hani out of respect for her presence.
