This hadith is narrated by Jabir bin 'Abdullah and it talks about his experience of being present with his two maternal uncles at a place called Al-'Aqaba. At this place, a pledge or an oath of allegiance was taken from people. This means that people promised to follow certain rules and regulations in order to live peacefully together as a community. It teaches us that we should always be loyal to our promises and commitments, no matter how difficult they may seem. We should also strive to maintain peace and harmony in our society by following the rules set out for us by our leaders or elders.
